Hands is an original and integrated approach for both
Massage and Reflex bodywork and was developed by therapist
Gerry Pyves over a period of 15 years. No Hands bodywork
differs from traditional massage and reflexology in
that NH practitioners’ employ the use of their forearms
to help free both the body structure and muscle tissue
from tension, which is often a product of stress. A revolutionary new approach to the most ancient of healing therapies,
No Hands Massage is aptly named as the hands have a
much reduced role compared to the classic forms of massage.
Instead of using my hands, I utilise the 'soft front' (flexor muscles) of both forearms. This has the advantage of introducing a softer touch to each stroke. It is not necessarily a superficial touch, as the usual response to this approach is for the muscles to relax and 'let go', allowing a deeper treatment to be received with least discomfort. In fact, I consciously attempt to minimise pain, preferring that my clients continue enjoying a state of deep relaxation.
No Hands Massage encapsulates the 'Magic of Touch'. It is deep, releasing, rejuvenating and nourishing. Client feedback indicates its growing effectiveness over classic (Swedish style) massage. This is massage for life, not just for the odd injury or
occasional pampering, but massage to help your journey through life. Words

understand it, by feeling it…. NO HANDS® Reflex Reflexology has ancient origins, dating far back into human history. The acknowledged pioneer of Western based Reflexology was Eunice Ingham, whose painstaking research during the 1930's, did much to map the Foot and Hand Reflexes. The No Hands approach helps continue the development of this
therapy. Again, the hands are avoided, as I utilise areas of my forearm in a
careful, controlled way. This enables a relaxing, deeper and more stimulating
treatment to be experienced than would be possible using my hands. NO HANDS® Therapeutic Chair Massage As an alternative to the traditional massage couch treatment, I can offer a No Hands Chair Massage.
It is an amazing way to receive a massage treatment whilst remaining fully clothed! You sit on a specially designed chair and receive all of the benefits of massage in just a few minutes. Using my bodyweight, I can work deeply through your clothing (without pain) helping you to release tension and feel recharged and rejuvenated.
No Hands Chair Massage can be provided at any location, for example I can attend your company premises and deliver No Hands Chair Massage to your staff, leaving them refreshed and relaxed; therefore more motivated and productive.
NO HANDS® Massage Treatment Prices: Treatment time is 1 hour (including consultation). For a single session, the fee is £35. Payment is due on booking. A course of 4 treatments is £120, a saving of £5 per session. As the benefits of regular treatments are accumulative, this allows time for the required changes to occur at a natural pace. The treatments are to be taken at 1 – 2 week intervals. The course can either be paid in full on the first visit, or you pay the full single session fee at each visit until the course fee is paid. NO HANDS® Chair Massage treatment prices: My treatment fee for a 20 minute session is £12.50. An extended treatment time of 30 minutes is available for £20.00. Minimum callout fee is £50.00, which covers up to 4 x 20 minute sessions. My
hourly rate is £35.00 per hour (3 sessions per
hour) with a minimum booking time of 4 hours. For
